Descriptor: Biological Control
Description: rearing pools for adult weevils. Infested plants are dug up in late winter or early spring, then placed in rearing pools in a greenhouse. Lights turned on in the night help to locate adults feeding on leaves. The moat keeps them from getting out of the pool.
