Description: Subsurface, drill-hole application of fertilizer requires drilling holes to a depth of 4 to 12 inches (4 to 8 preferred) and pouring a specified amount of fertilizer into each hole. There should be at least 2 inches between the top of the fertilizer and the surface of the soil.
