Description: cucumber cv. LaFayette; downy mildew caused by Pseudoperonospora cubensis; leaves collected during rain and scanned on a flatbed scanner a few hours later; shows watersoaking of tissue shortly before sporulation; See 5340093 for view of lower leaf surface of same leaf. Water soaking is much more subtle on upper leaf surface.
