Descriptor: Adult(s)
Description: Length 3.4-5.3 mm, pronotum less smoothly and evenly rounded at sides than S. cylindricollis, slightly more contracted at base than anteriad and broadest behind middle. Elytra with clear, complete stripes, not tessellated or mottled. Patch of pale scales at shoulders less conspicuous (Morris 1997); Debrecen, Hungary, 1998, I. Szarukan (Department of Crop Protection, University of Debrecen, Hungary).
