Description: Mapped 2.47 acre (1 ha) 65-year-old stand, after 41 cm (16") diameter-limit (dbh) harvest (non-silvicultural harvesting practice common in the region). 195 stems (79/A) were located and crown mapped using a survey laser. Basal area is 40 square feet per acre dominated by yellow-poplar (yellow) and oaks (brown). Red maple (red), and other hardwoods (blue) have the highest densities (trees/acre).
