Descriptor: Plant(s)
Description: 1. Flowering branchlet with terminal vegetative bud (k) and panicles developing from lateral fertile buds (a - e). - 2. Leafy (yet green) branchlet of the current year and fruits (f - h) developed from lateral fertile buds of the previous season. Leaves are odd-pinnate, fruits dry, one seeded samara developing in panicles. - 3. Seedling with cotyledons and first ordinary leaves. - 4. The winter-branchlet is glabrous, lenticellate, greenish-grey in color. Winter-buds are in opposite position, roundish and almost black. After Hempel & Wilhelm, 1889.
