Description: The larvae in this gallery have been parasitized by the insect-killing fungus Beauvaria bassiana. The white spots at the ends of the gallery are caused by the mycelium of Beauvaria on larvae that have been killed by the fungus. The beetles were feeding on Ulmus americana (American elm)
