I graduated as forest engineer at the Faculty of Forestry, University of West-Hungary (at that time University of Forestry and Wood Technology) in Sopron, Hungary. I'm working now for more than 20 years as forest entomologist at the Institute of Silviculture and Forest Protection and I'm making insect photographs not only because of my profession, but also as hobby.
